You want to be able to capture the eastern arch.
In Maine, the line to the western arch is very flat.....
Almost, need to be on a hill with no trees, etc to the west.

The Winegard Playmaker is only compatible with the Western Arc satellites so you might want to consider a different antenna that will handle EA as well. Otherwise, while the signal will be there you could have a very difficult time finding enough clear sky fairly low in the sky to be able to see the satellites. You could place the dome on the roof of the RV for additional help seeing West.
What I post is my 2 cents and nothing more. Please don't read anything into my post that's not there. If you disagree, that's OK.
Can't we all just get along?

I have used it with he Pathway X2 from Eastern PA, to Florida with no issues..

I personally like the 30 day segments, as we are part timers (weekend warriors) and do no need it all the time

Ours works fine with the Winegard antenna. You can set it for eastern and western arc. There have bee times where it won't see one because of trees and it will see the other arc.
