PLUMBING MOD ?
Has anyone replaced the fresh water drain plugs with valves? Same on FW tank drain line. We camp almost year round and often winterize several times a year.Can I get the parts at a big box home depot type store?

- Yes.on my RV not a problem... Some it might be due to placement.
- Mine came from the factory with valves.
- I replaced the 3/8" drain with 1/2" drain. It is a lot faster to drain the tank now.
- Simplest way is to unscrew what you have in the tank. Take it to the hardware store and figure out what they have to replace it with. I replaced the ball valve with a pencil sized hole they had in mine with a 1/2 inch fitting in the tank and a 1/2 inch ball valve.
- I cut mine off and installed sharkbite valves. Very easy to do and a great mod. They have been on for 5 yrs.
