Power center upgrade

Hi all,

Just bought a used truck camper and the power center/converter/charger doesn’t work and needs to be replaced. I attached a pic of the details. I am wondering if the Wfco WF-8725 would be a suitable replacement. Specs attached.

i had a old one with 3 glass fuses and one reset button. strait from 1991. I did have to cut the opening a little bigger but it wasn't a big deal. I think I did a post with pictures in the diy forum or the camper forum.

Did you also have an allanson D-20-BRA-A ? That PD 4135 looks like a nice unit.

I would call Best Converter
It maybe possible to get a direct lower section.

I too suggest the Progressive Dynamics. Made in the usa (From I'm sad to say mostly imported parts) it is a proven performer and I really like the way it is factory programmed.

The 4600 series is designed to replace the electroics on your WFCO. you use teh same breaker and fuse panel. but the back part (The "Guts" get replaced.. I'm on my 2nd one. first lasted over 12 years.

WFCO has a poor reputation, find another brand if possible. You can get good advice from Best Converter, have your current model information available when you call.
