Propane fridge won't light

my 1990 trailer has a 2 way Americana fridge.

On ac, it trips my GFCI - Don't care if it won't work...

My fridge was working fine on propane. Now, nope. For some reason, it will not light. I swapped propane tanks to rule that out.

What do you suggest? I am going away this weekend and would really like to avoid the ice in cooler method.

When was the last time you cleaned burner, cleaned the ignitor---did any routine housekeeping of the fridge burner area?

    AC tripping the GFCI....bad/shorted element

This summer, I removed the outside cover and blew shop air around.

Sounds like I may have kicked up some dust and may have plugged it.

  • Last time my propane would not lite I found a sliver of rust had fallen from the burner tube across burner and sence/spark probe. Blew it out and good to go
  • There is a ton of information on troubleshooting these fridges on the internet. Look at some of the U-tubes and hopefully get some ideas.
