I'm in the market for a good inverter to go with a new solar setup on my truck camper. Plan on installing three 100 watt panels to keep my two Trojan 6 volts charged. I was leaning towards a Morningstar 300 but I recently saw a Go Power 600 on Amazon for about $100 more. Is that a good brand?

Hi,

Go Power is a good brand. It will have a fan.

The Morningstar, is an even better brand and does not have a fan. That should mean it won't draw as much energy from the battery bank when loaded up.

What do you plan to run on the inverter? 600 watts is not enough for more than the smallest appliance loads, so I can't see the advantage.

Xantrex Prowatt is 2000 watts and costs about $355.00. (From Best Converters). That would run everything in an RV for brief periods of time (limited by battery capacity).

Not familiar with either
I went with the Xantrek Prowatt 600 because, with the optional transfer relay and control switch I could hard-wire it into breaker panel

When someone tells you to buy the same rig they own, listen, they might be right. When they tell you to buy a different rig then they own, really pay attention, they probably know something you don't.
