Aboard sloops, ketches, and multihulls, they can take shocks that almost hurt the feet. I may be wrong but I have a feeling a majority of new construction vessels use vacuum panels as well as having hundreds of retrofits done annually.
Gossip is rife that an inch of vacuum panels = 8" of open cell foam. To clad entirely an RV refrigerator would more than likely reduce energy consumption 90%. No gas refills every two weeks. Try nine months if the door gasket has been improved.
