If the problem is actually water in the gas, and not a dirty carburetor, Stabil may be a better choice. Stabil actually absorbs water molecules which is why it is good for long term storage. Seafoam is manufactured more as a cleaner though they state it will preserve gas as well. I am not sure Seafoam will have much affect on water in your gas.
