Reflectix Installation
A guy in the park gave me a partial roll of Reflectix which I thought I would use on the big window at the rear of my travel trailer. Should it go on the inside or outside of the single pane window? Any other Reflectix tips?

- On the windows I just cut it a little long on each side and press fit them in. I've had it that way for over 2 years.
- On my big windshield (Which is where I use it) I just unroll it and close the drapes behind it, They hold it in place.
Makes the cockpit feel at least 10 degrees cooler in the summer and warmer in the winter by the time I get the curtains closed. Gr8life wrote:

I use the little suction cups with hooks attached. Just punch a small hole in the Reflectix and attach the cups to the window.
Any craft store, and many other places, will have the suction cups.
They work well for me.
I originally tried the stick on velcro strips. They worked for awhile but, when it got hot the sun would melt the adhesive and they would fall off.
Great idea. Think I'll give that a try too. I also used the two-sided tape. Used stick on velcro to hold my round plastic clock up on the wall. It did a fantastic job...until it didn't! It let loose on an extra hot day traveling down the road.- Thanks, I will try the suction cups. Already tried double back tape and it melted off in two hours.
