Replacement furnace for '94 Toyota Warrior

I need to replace my Suburban DD 17DSI furnace. Mechanic suggested the NT20SE. Any thoughts? Should I get the 16,000 or the 19,000 BTU? Anyone have experience with the SQ that they say is quieter? This is for my 21' 1994 Toyota Warrior. I am a full timer and I use often use solar.
  • You are heating a fairly small space. You are also using solar to keep the batteries charged.
I would be looking at the amperage of both those choices and going with the one that draws the least current.
If they are the same ,then consider the one that will burn the least amount of Propane to maintain the desired temperature!
  • Go with the 19,000 btu unit.........never go smaller than OEM

Your current furnace was rated at 2.9A
The NT 16, 20 in SE and SQ are 2.8A

Regardless....you will need to do mods to frame work. The DD is larger (height/width) then replacement choices in direct discharge
    DD-------12"/H, 10 1/2"/W
    NT(SE)-------9 3/8" H&W
    NT(SQ)-------9 1/2"/H, 9 3/8"/W
