I have never had that come up in 38 years of dealing with RV roof replacement with insurance. It depends on YOUR carrier and your policy. A simple explanation is this on a betterment fee. I know my policies do NOT have a Betterment fee. Doug
You have a car that the tires are due for replacement and you have an accident that damages the tires. The Insurance company will require YOU to buy the new tires since they were due for replacement anyway.
