RV Power Problems !

You video shows the microwave light on ... but no lights etc .. if that's correct then battery switch, DC fuse, or converter issue would be high on the list. Have you tested the output of the converter?

I would guess you may be having problems with the 120V side because of the configuration of your cords. It looks like you have 130' of cord and an adaptor. I would be checking all of that to see if it is supplying the required voltage and in the correct phase.

TT = travel trailer. There's a bunch of acronyms used on RV forums. FW = fifth wheel, DW = dear wife, etc....

Not a "mini" breaker, it's a main circuit breaker and in the same 120VAC/12VDC volt combination panel. It "controls" all of the branch circuit breakers in the panel, which are mostly 15 amps. It will be labelled on the directory in the panel and is probably at the top in yours. You'll also find the amperage rating on the breaker itself.

Sometimes the house receptacle you plug the RV into has a GFCI to it and the RV blows that from some problem in the RV (or its power cord)

Sometimes the house receptacle is on a house circuit that is near maxed out and the RV overloads it so the breaker in the house pops.

The RV worked before with just the AC110V line (no battery was needed).

The cord / mini converter both work. I swapped them out with extras that I have.

What is TT ?

Where is the 30amp mini breaker ?

If possible, can you point me in the direction of these 2 devices by looking at my youtube video and giving me the time frame where the TT / 30amp mini breaker are located ?

You are saying the problem is NO 120 volts inside your TT?

Take a multimeter and see if you have 120 volts AC at the panel inside your TT to determine if the cord or plug/connector is faulty. Measure the voltage before and after the 30 amp main breaker. If there is 120 before the main breaker and none on the load side, then it's a faulty breaker. Unlikely to be the breaker tho. If no 120 volts, it won't have anything to do with the little plug-in fuses which are 12 volts DC.

Then report back. ;)

So I just looked at your video and I see that the microwave is on. Since the MW is on, you do have 120 volts inside. Take the multimeter and check for 120 volts on the load side of each branch circuit breaker in the panel. If each breaker has 120V on the load side of the terminals you have something wrong with wiring downstream of the breakers. First thing to check for would be a tripped GFCI receptacle.

With no battery connected or converter on or connected, anything to do with the 120 volt system should still work. Microwave, AC unit, water heater (if electric on it) and ALL receptacles. The interior lights are all 12 volts DC so if some of them aren't working, then you have something wrong with the DC system.

Some of the older converters require a battery in place to operate. As such none of the DC side will work without a battery in place. Put the battery in place .. plug the RV into shore power .. then measure the voltage at the battery and report back.

Update : Replaced the battery and the power works HOWEVER.

When I plug in the AC110V from the House outlet to the RV female plug (I bought a $30 convertor so the plugs can fit into one another) and I am still not getting power in the RV from the House 110AC powersupply.

All the fuses look fine ? I don't see any that popped out (I assume a popped out fuse = blown fuse?)

Thoughts?

Some older trailers, NO battery and the converter won't convert.

Most modern RV's. the converter is on the HOUSE side of the battery disconnect

The rest of them it's on the Battery Side.. On those, if the switch is off. so are lights, fridge, water pump, and a host of other things that eat 12 volt DC either for operation or control.
