'Sharp' over stove convection/microwave oven problems

While on a trip last fall, something strange happened to the unit. While trying to convection heat a few potatoes, the oven would stop heating at one minute. Tried another way with microwave, unit run...

Most under cabinet (like our GE MW)
Have a mounting bracket on the wall behind it
And have bolts or screws behind the exhaust vent facing at the top
That go thru to the mounting plate, or up thru the cabinet floor above the MW

It hangs on the wall bracket , with the front bolts holding the front up
