Shop towel source

Just inspected and packed the wheelbearings on our trailer.
I used cheap Walmart bathroom washcloths @ $4.00 for 18 white terry cloth ones.
I think they worked very well and I plan to buy more.
  • Even tbe shop style paper towels aren't my choice.
My Wife keeps our rag container full of of old tee shirts and assorted used clothing for rags. Some fabrics are much better than others.

Next time in Walmart, more white washcloths for me.
  • Couple rolls of paper towels for greasy jobs like wheel bearings. Old towels for general around the shop stuff.
  • Whatever pair of jeans I'm wearing.:B
But, not so good for marital bliss......
  • Old t-shirts or other clothing from garage sales and thrift stores. cut them to the size you want.
  • For just wiping hands, most anything will do, but if you get your hands greasy and don't have a good place to wash up, they make pr-moistened towels called Scrubs that are great for getting the tough stuff off.
