Great feedback all. Thanks for jumping in with several good points.
You have confirmed the doubt that was creeping in as my appointment was getting closer on the swap.
I have had no maintenance issues on the present Interstates....never add water when checked and zero corrosion.
The $1,000 price included a bluetooth monitoring device, and new cables. Actual battery price is in the ballpark mentioned in your posts.
My only desire was to be able to run the batts down more than comfortable doing with present ones, but that is debatable too.
Bottom line? I’m cancelling my appointment and pocketing the grand. Might even take my wife out for dinner tonight and brag how clever I am!
Thank you all for your excellent points.. Great quick response from my favorite forum.
