My Jayco would do that sometimes when trying to open the slide. Called a repair place and they couldnt get us in for a week but said here is what you do. There was a access panel for the motor in the under belly and just take a 5/8 wrince and give the motor a couple of turns and wal-la it worked. Had it looked at several times and they would tell me nothing wrong but it would still fail every once in a while. Whet on like that for several years. One place I had it services and he actually fixed the problem. Never failed after that
