Slideout repair- need advice
2003 keystone Cougar. 30BHS
The slide room has one actuator that pushes one side out & the other side is driven via slave tube which is connecten by a pin to the driven side.
The pin broke once and I replaced it with a bolt I had on hand and it worked well util this past weekend when were packing up to leave and it broke again.
The non driven side moves very easily, in fact, I was able to run it back in by hand with channel lock pliers on the tube so we could leave.
My question to any of you that have had a similar problem- should I replace with a split pin OR go with a stronger bolt?
