Hi,

Please give your opinion on these jars. Thanks in advance.

"We have what you want. Group 27 AGM batteries which we use in the Gas and oilfield operations. They are actually group 31 with 120 Amp hours at 12V but compacted in a group 27 housing which usually only has 93 AHr. This means they are smaller than a group 29. The price is $230.00 each, and we get them out of Edmonton. They are specially made for remote oilfield Scada towers which are powered entirely by solar. They work great in an RV, or boat, and they are the only AGM batteries which in my opinion really last."

I did get a thickness on the plates for the group 31 stuffed into a group 27 case. It is 3 mm (0.118 thousandths)

Hi,

The retailer lives in a tiny town in Val Marie, SK. He has been running a solar business for many years. The name of the business is Truewest Solar. He can arrange shipping.

Take me with you, please!!! lol. I was out west when I was 10. Bin itchin' to get back out there, since.

Well, that's what this whole trailer thing is all about as far as I'm concerned. Re-living the good times and getting away from it all. And out west or up north is a good place to do all that.

But about these batteries, I am concerned about how they manage to pack all those Ah into such a small package. And where are they made (China perhaps?).

More local for us in Ontario, Niagara Falls USA Sam's Club is selling the Duracell grp 31 AGMS for US$180. Only 105Ah though. But they are basically East Penn Deka batteries, so known manuf. Even with the exchange rate they're a good deal.
