Source for Self Contained Light Switch

I have a defective rocker switch in the bathroom of my park model. It is self contained; that is, there is a plastic shell with the romex entering and exiting through two holes. There are two ears on the mounting screws that flip out behind the wallboard to hold the switch in place---no switch box.

Can anyone tell me where I can find these things?

If there is room, put in a standard switch box and switch, Use a low profile if you have to, Or keep looking for the self contained one

But odds are it will be less expensive to get the blue plastic ones with the mountain ears, a switch and your choice of cover plate.

IF this is a 12 volt switch, you can use a 120 volt switch safely.

Yep, after doing a bit of research I have found others that experience intermittent problems with the self contained switches. So I am putting in an old work box with ears and conventional switches.

Merci to all the others who respinded.

    All the best.

  • Most Ace Hardware have the self contained mobile home switches.
Some Home Depot and Lowes carry them.
  • on line or an RV retailer somewhere. Possibly a mobile home dealer. I don't think you'll find one at any electrical retailer or home improvement/hardware store.
