To each there own. Ours has the fold out steps and both DW and I love them. Much more stable than the fold out kind. I am never so rushed I can't spend a few minutes adjusting the steps or cleaning them off when packing up.
If you don't like 'em don't get 'em.

I've hated them from Day One. I still can't understand how people consider them a "good thing". Just give a good set of fold out stairs and I'm a happy camper. No adjusting so they'll set right, no cleaning off so they don't drop mud and sand into the trailer, no having to make sure the trailer is high enough so the legs will actually deploy, and no issues getting into the trailer if the steps can't be used.

And, oh yeah, that plus: the trailer doesn't wiggle when you step on them.

I have a MH, not a TT, it came with electric steps, I would assume that you can get them on a TT too, maybe even after market, all it costs is money.;)
