Go to Google and put in: RV GPS and you'll get a lot of results for units and comparisons and shopping guides, etc.

Our Garmin 1300 (or close to that) lists campgrounds if you go into the lodging section.
It IS user friendly and I like it.

Go to the poi factory and find the one you want to put in the GPS that you have now.

How about an ipad with GPS and use the Allstays RV park and campground app? That's what I use.

Many GPS units and software have the ability to "Import" information from the Discovery Owner's Group....

Just make sure you download the proper POI file.... WARNING, if you download the "Megafile" for Windows S&T,, well your screen is all pins, they completely cover the map till you zoom in a bit. Quite a bit.

I use Microsoft S&T when Im in the RV (With either the mega-file or a portion of it) and I have a Garmin that needs an antenna (It got lost) in the car along with my Smart Phone and Google Maps.. Google took me to Savanna and back (245 miles each way) only one technically wrong turn (Actually it was not wrong, The thing told me to "Turn" but in reality you go straight.. the road you are on TURNS but you go straight onto another road so Technically you are, in fact, turning).

And back.. I was very pleased with it.. And it was free with the phone (Samsung Galaxy S-III) But I like the Garmin too, but it's often taken me out of my way.

The ones you buy in a store should all list campgrounds, by name. Not sure about the ones you don't buy in a store.

My majellan road mate lists campgrounds in the AAA section of points of interest. I have had good luck with it and the info about the campgrounds listed.

There are now available RV focused GPS units. Three that I have seem are RandMcNally, Magellan and Garmin.

I haven't tested the Garmin, but I like the Rand presentation of Campgrounds and RV services like Dump Stations better than the Magellan.

My older Garmin is a wonderful piece of electronics - but finding a campground is a pain. It does list commercial campgrounds under the lodging section, but the state parks, COE campgrounds and USFS campgrounds we love are near impossible to find.

Every GPS has its good points and its bad points. Information on things like campgrounds is only as good as the source the GPS company buys the data from.

Most of the 'errors' people see are the result of how the various states present their highway data.

What is important is that you be comfortable with the interface - how you use it. That means that hopefully you can test the various units which friends before making your decision.

Like said above, the POI Factory is just filled with campgrounds and different kinds of campgrounds....Easy to add them to a Garmin and perhaps other GPS's. The only fly in the ointment is: the majority of the files are created by people like you and I. You may be very articulate in your quest for accuracy and insure the POI file you create and share is just nearly perfect....I, who isn't all that concerned with accuracy will create a file that is just kinda useful..sometimes giving you a POI that is miles from the actual location. But it may be in the same state. :) :)
