- Chum_leeExplorerIf you can find a used pin that isn't already broken,(chances are it soon will be) then yes you can replace the pin but you have to drill out the rivit that holds it in place on the handle (2 locations old and older) and then find and install the replacement. I've yet to find a supplier that sells just the pin/rivit as new parts. That doesn't mean there isn't one.

No affiliation, just information, is your best bet. You'll need 15 minutes, a small drill motor, (1/4" drive) a sharp 5/32" drill bit, and a rivit gun to complete the installation.
