Surface and Terminal Mount Fuse Blocks

Has anyone used one of these for the fuse protection in an Inverter install?

Fuse Block
  • Yes I use the type of fuse you ask about.
I think the're great. No additional wiring.
Just bolt it to your deep cycle battery, hook the cable to it and you're done.

I don't like to put more than two ring terminals on a stud bolt... If you are planning on having several rig terminal connections then a Blue sea Terminal Strip would be the thing to use as well so that no more than two ring terminals are used on one stud connection...

No, I would only use 1 fuse for just my inverter. I am just wondering if this type would work instead of using a ANL or T class fuse.

  • Some B+ vans and Tiffin motorhomes uses those 300 amp types for the Inverter AND heavy amp charge circuits. Doug
