- MEXICOWANDERERExplorerIt is a refuge. That's what they make window sills for. Anyway the plywood shed I've been living in on this side has walls so thin a mosquito could close its eyes and fly right on through the walls. I do not have the security of a hundreds feet tall cell phone tower when on the other side. I want lightning to work up a good sweat trying to get to me. The rebar and 6-sack are for earthquakes. The ridge is solid rock. I figure the place could easily survive a 8.0+, 12.0 Modified Mercalli Scale quake.
- NinerBikesExplorerNo wonder your cell phone signal is so poor inside your home. Sounds like you live inside a Faraday box.
- MEXICOWANDERERExplorerIt also has an echo...
- MEXICOWANDERERExplorerThe casita has more than a thousand feet of 5/8" rebar six sack concrete and foot thick walls and ceiling. The barotes in the gen shed are ten by tens. With galvanized lag screws and Franklin sub floor adhesive. Over 200 tubes. Got them at date of expiration for a song.

- CoolermanExplorerThe original War of the Worlds. Love that old movie.
- landyacht318ExplorerOk, well PM/email me if you want to stop by. If not, no worries, and good luck with the medicals.
Hope Tropical Storm Marty does not damage your mainland interests. - MEXICOWANDERERExplorerGot lots of TO-247 sinks left. Enough to play pound-a-peg.
- NinerBikesExplorerIERC used to be located in Burbank, CA, when I worked for them, until Dynamics Corp of America was acquired by CTS in 1997.
Heat sink catalogue
Of interest, perhaps, fansinks, heatsinks built into fans.
Linky - landyacht318ExplorerThis is what I got left:
That is an 80mm fan on the left, a 40mm fan in the middle, and a 6 inch ruler near the bottom for size reference.
I need to keep something for future heat reduction possibilities though.
