Prof, is there a possibility of getting a waveform picture of the Champion running a loaded power converter that doesn't have pf correction? My Onan's waveform is similar to your Champion waveform with no load. When the only load is the power converter (a Wfco) the waveform gets downright nasty and ugly. It's not to pretty driving the air conditioner, either. The eu2000i waveform is very good with both of those loads.
On the repair part prices, they're just milking people. If the Champion inverter generator turns out good, maybe this price stranglehold will finally be broken.
