Hi there having now read all 45 pages of this thread, I find it interesting that there are so many people trying to run an AC 13.5k or not with a 2000w GEN while I would love to be able to do it I realize the reality of it. If I recall the first few pages of this thread, the question at heart is "is this generator a worthy investment or something your going to use a hand full of times and need to replace, and will it power typical 2000w loads?" The attractiveness of this particular unit is the price in Canada with the ability to pair it with another of the same unit for the Canadian cost of a red or blue single and half the cost of a 3000i in Canada. This is even still less than the yellow 3000i and gives you the flexibility to increase fuel efficiency by running only one when low loads are needed.
Having said all that the concerns I have with this system are:
Is this setup a viable long lived machine (I'm not expecting to hand it down to my kids like maybe you could with a red or blue) and when linked will it run my AC. I have sent an email to CEP already with my equipment concerns but maybe someone here has enough experience with the device to know when paired is the trailer adaptor in the link kit a 30A circuit or is it still a 15A breaker? As this is one of the deciding factors for me.
