Aye. You can also buy it by the foot from some lawnmower repair shops.
Originally they said they were going to send me the complete recoil assembly since they didn't have just the rope. Even better, since the recoil spring has gotten a bit squeaky as well.
Then they called me back today and said that no, there are no parts available and they are sending me a new ix2000 instead. Hence my sudden interest in Generac inverter generators - a freebie. :D
