Jay, I notice, with interest, from profiles both you and John have only posted to this thread. Have you used other brand gens with the catering truck? How does the Champion do with the mircowave? You have had some pretty cold weather up that way this winter, did this effect catering?
@ Old & Slow.
You are correct as this is the only thread that I have had any interest in. My very first post to this RV forum and to this thread was back about page 55 where I discuss having had and returned a Honeywell unit and have a friend with one Honda 2000i and my next door neighbor has a Honda 3000i. Both are nice... and expensive. One is very heavy. Other than a noisy 6500 watt emergency generator for the house, a Briggs and Stratton brand, that pretty much sums up my experience with generators.
The biggest thing is... I am cheap! That is why I am ecstatic over the Champion generators and as I said in my orginal post, (I think), I hope I am not penny wise and pound foolish.
You have questioned quite a few newbies and thier posts feeling that we might be infiltrators or "plants". I assure you I am not. Just like good stuff, reasonably priced and that which works and works well!

John,
First, you are a gentleman and a scholar. I think you understand on this thread there have been, in the past, several posters that were questionable at best. If you look back, they were here today and gone tomorrow, promo type, and some have dissapeared into the night. So sorry for the questions. But, John my question in the post was directed to Jay and was only asking for more info' concerning the use of the Champion 2000i and his carting business. Please stay on the thread with future updates. The Champion 2000i operation at high altitudes has great interest for those RV folks who travel far and wide. Thanks so much for your interest to let us know your experience with the Champion 2000i. Looking forward to more of the same perhaps from Jay.
