one thing that turns me off on the Honda is
- no cast iron sleeve cylinder (!)
- plastic camshaft driven by a belt. Don't see that it is lubricated.
- no separate cylinder head - the head + cylinder is one piece
I'm guessing the internals of the CPE is more conventional
