Hey all,
Make sure you are all cleaning the spark arrestor. I foolishly have only been cleaning the outer disc, not realizing that there is a screen on the inside that pulls out. Both of mine were completely clogged. I threw them away because the build up was too much to remove. Needless to say, they run so much better now. I ran them heavy and hard for 3 years like this.
On another note, I'm going to install a hi-temp cut off on my 3100. Has anyone done this? I'm thinking a snap disc cut-off set to maybe 150 degrees . Just don't know if the low oil sensor is normally open or closed. Looking for advise, otherwise I'll just tear it open and check.
