    Thanks, that's what I thought..I tried everything to get it off. That is really a poor design

    Where is it cracked......smooth part or in threads?

    I would use some JB Weld for plastic.
    Clean it then rough up with some 120 grit and apply the JB Weld.

    Course if threaded area...I have a die set to chase new threads.
  • We also have the Style II. Never had it apart though. Check this link for some downloads. The third item from the bottom of the list is for replacement of the base, which may be needed in your case. Another possibility is to just replace the water valve, which is the fifth item up from the bottom.
