Tongue jack

Suggest not buying any LCI jacks because not only do they not have parts for them the people from the factory have no idea where the parts come from!

  • I am making a new part out of galvanized pipe and washers. My basic welding skills should be sufficient. Will not be a Slavs to the throw away mentality. Will let you or, ya'll, know how that turns out. Maybe that should be all ya'll. I'm still learning Texan.

Probably like a lot of other items manufactured today, they have no intention of selling "parts" to fix something when it's broken. You are expected to just throw away the entire old and buy a new one! Actually, by the time you mess around finding the part, ordering the part, picking up the part or having it shipped to you, installing the part, then you find out it's the wrong part, and doing it all over again, then you find out the part you though was broken really wasn't it actually something else, so back to the drawing board again .... phew! After all that, it's just easier to buy a new one and forget the old... After all, that's what they wanted you to do in the first place!
  • Never heard of them, but seem to be several new names on jacks now. My $100 Ram works fine but no idea if parts are available.
