When you don't have a tire show up, you're saying it doesn't alert you to this problem for about an hour?
But you can see there is no tire pressure information.
The TST will show a tire even if it's been out of contact with the monitor for up to an hour. But after an hour of being out of contact, the tire will not show up and an alert will sound. .

Sometimes one or two will never show up" I assume that you are talking about initial start-up, as in the morning after being down all night. Very much like the TST.
Ok, I haven't read the manual on how this works, so I'll just explain.
The monitor takes about 2 minutes to cycle through all 10 tires. It can take several minutes before they all show up. Sometimes one or two will never show up. Sometimes they show up then disappear, which 'notifies' me they've lost contact. It can take almost an hour before the blank ones will give an audible beep, along with showing a blank. I guess the audible beep means I better do something.
Most of the time I can reboot the monitor to show the previously non-responsive sensors.

it could be up to an hour between when the monitor lost the signal and the monitor alerting you to a lost signal and showing a blank. That's why I was wondering how long yours takes to notify you.

If you take the monitor and walk out of range of the sensors, how long does it take before the monitor alerts you to the fact it is no longer receiving signals from the sensors.fj12ryder wrote:About a minute. The monitor is constantly cycling thru all the sensors, and suddenly one will just show blank. Turning the monitor off and back on will clear it up...for a while.
how long does it take for the monitor to alert you to the fact you've lost contact with a sensor? Have you ever checked the time frame? .

Whatever brand you consider, I highly recommend temperature sensing capability. I have the newer Tireminder TM66, which I like because it also allows me to "disconnect" the trailer sensors when I am only driving the truck, so I don't get "lost sensor" alarms for the trailer sensors.
