Triple check your ground wires!

Have been having some voltage issues with our 07 Discovery. I noticed that the Information Center on the dash would not keep proper date/time. I narrowed it down to low voltage to the information center.

Just yesterday I was under the front end and was inspecting cables......

Found a BIG ground wire leading from the backside of the dash loose! The bolt was NEVER tightened! I was able to grab on to the cable and wiggle it! Wow was I surprised!
Tightened it up & set the date/time on the information center.

Hopefully that loose ground cable was the reason I was having voltage issues at the dash.

Just checked the information center & it still has the date/time. I think I'll take a trip up the west coast to test it out!
