There is no reason to not buy a repeater but a lot of people including me don't care to buy something we may not need. Since it can be purchased later, most seem to want to try the system without it 1st. With our 96 dodge and same 5th wheel, we did not need a repeater but with our 2015, it didn't take long to see we did need one so be bought one then. Hugs, Di

Is there any reason not to have a repeater even with a short rv? Seems like for the extra $40 or $50 to have the system work as good as it possibly can would be worth the money so I don't have to worry about it.
