TVs not powered by gen

Anyone got any ideas why my TVs are not powered by gen set? TVs are powered by shore power but not gen set. 110 vac is available to operate all other appliances including microwave, washer/dryer, coffee pot, etc but not TVs. What is this newbie missing? Gulf Stream Class A.
  • Is the MH engine running when your testing this?

Most have ignition interlocked outlets that don't allow the TV to be used when driving.
  • If he has an inverter, the power pass thru worked on shore power
    Sounds like an interlock problem

TV ignition lock on almost all motorhomes ONLY affects the front Dash area TV. Your other rear area TV's should operate. You state NO picture, you have volume??? Do you have NO pic and Volume when the Engine is running? The TV interlock kills all power to the TV, not just stopping the Video. Doug
  • ON mine the TV lockout is only on one side of the plug socket. Try plugging it in the other socket and see if the TV works.
