Washer/dryer combo

Last year I installed, well Camping World installed a washer/dryer combo into the motorhome. The DW and I used it while in Florida this winter. Works great and will save us money, HOWEVER, the dry cycle seems to be really hot and the clothes come out of the dryer wrinkled which causes DW to iron, which causes cranky DW.

Is there an adjustment or do I live with cranky DW?

All good advice above:

Small loads
Shake and fold before starting the dry cycle

After the warp overdrive spin cycle you need to remove and fluff all items. If you take the perm press out while still slightly damp and hang up to dry... no ironing. This is more important than doing smaller loads. Do a towel in every load, but hang it out to dry and dry the rest making for a smaller drying load.

The key as Ivy says is the removal and FLUFF/Shake to take the wrinkles out before they dry. the supper spin really does crease your clothes BUT if/when you take them out and hang them after shaking/ HARD Shakes to get the wrinkles out it really does work. We take the towels out - Shake - Fold and place back into the dryer cycle and they dry all fluffy just like the big dryer.

The spin cycle is so effective that you will find that if you are in Colorado or other DRY states they will DRY in Minutes on the hanger. Which by the way is a great way to re-introduce humidity into the Coach in the Dry Climate.

If it is vented, the hose is notorious for not getting proper air flow. Lots of installations where the hose come out of the box and hooked up rather than being cut to length.

As far as wrinkles, load size is critical. Also DW runs a short dry timed cycle, removes dry items, folds those still damp and puts them in for another cycle. They come out as if ironed.

This post is my opinion (free advice). It is not intended to influence anyone's judgment nor do I advocate anyone do what I propose.

If vented, check to make sure that there is good air flow coming out of the outside vent. Could be that the vent hose from the dryer to the vent is kinked and restricting air flow.

Here is a helpful site. Splendide helpful hints

We have a vented Splendide and the trick is small loads, and remove the cloths after the wash cycle, shake them out and put them in loosely to dry. Ours has a cool-down period and also a half heat setting.

Vented or ventless?
The key is small loads.
