I have had my splendide 2100xc washer dryer combo for 10 years.last trip on spin cycle making a bad vibration and knocking noise.anybody take one apart to try and fix it.
It's possible the concrete balance weight bolted to the drum has come loose. You can inspect this by removing the top. To remove the top, remove two screws at the back of the machine holding the top in place. Firmly rap the front top of the machine to slide the top rearward. If one of the retaining bolts has worked loose, reinstall the bolts using thread lock, such as Locktite. Please unplug the machine prior to working on it.
Call the distributor in Oregon. They provide excellent phone tech support and have all the replacement parts available. Have your serial number available.
