I have a custom Rv I have been building for several years now. Recently the hot water heater seems to be going out a lot. It will run for a couple miniuts and then go out an need to be lit back to the pilot light and then turned on from there. Today it happend 3 or 4 times in an hours time. Any thoughts?

Could be cobwebs in the burner tube. It doesn't take much to mess up gas/air flow. Easy fix, blow out with air hose or use pipe cleaner with small piece of rag on the end and push it all the way through.
RV stores sell a specific pipe snake looking device for this.
Dirty thermocouple can cause this as well. Remove thermocouple and clean off with emory cloth.

Could be wind blowing it out.

Could be thermocouple getting ready to die.
