Water Heater

I have a gas Atwood water heater. Last year it stopped working so I replaced the circuit board. It started working correctly again. A couple months later it stopped working again. However this time it appears that there is no juice getting to the heater/circuit board and the little indicator light that is supposed to come on when I press the water heater button is not coming on. I am wondering if I have a loose wire behind that button or not? Its just a bit of a pain to get behind the button so I figured I would ask first.

All of my control buttons are built into the metal exhaust fan shroud over the stove. Haven't figured out an easy way to get back there yet.

I would suspect the thermal fuse that Bud mentioned. You can check this easy by removing the fuse and install a jumper wire between the connections it see if it starts. If it does just replace the fuse. It is there as a safety device so don't leave the jumper there as a permanent fix.
  • Check the ECO and thermostat for continuity. Use ohmmeter between the two brown wires and then the two red wires. Suggest disconnecting one on each for good reading.
There is also a thermal fuse behind the shrink tubing adjacent to the thermostat/ECO
