Water pump & Cargo lights turn themselves on?

Is this a multiplexed system?

Exactly what is the pump doing, it should have power to it all the time anyway, it would come on when the pressure drops, how are you shutting it off?
The lights sound like an electronic control issue, how do you turn them on and off when you use them, a switch or do they come on when you open a door or hatch?

I dont want the pump on while hooked to city water. Right now the light on the pump buttons come on indicating the pump is turned on. When water is called for I can hear the pump running even though I am on city water.

This is only a guess, but there's hard luck experience behind it. I think something else is poorly grounded and its hot side is looking for a ground through your lights and/or pump.

Your coach is probably pretty sophisticated, so the point above, about how these circuits are wired and controlled has validity. If it's just fuses, wire and switches, that's a different case from electronics, remote controls, networking etc.

Why are latching relay control systems so necessary? I can see push on push off buttons being neater than toggle switches but latching relays?

Has any manufacturer used their noodle and affixed an automatic timer shutoff to a cargo bay control light circuit?

I can see where a two way or three way control circuit would be handy but spending recreation time toubleshooting systems designed to "make things easier" is the epitome of the word oxymoron.

Kinda similar, I use some nifty little $2 Motion sensors from fleabay. Not only does it shut the light off 10 seconds after I walk away but they come back on if the door is open and I get within about 4' of it (or if I just open the door).

I had my water pump turning it self on and it was the electronic controller causing the problem. No issues with the lights.
