This is only a guess, but there's hard luck experience behind it. I think something else is poorly grounded and its hot side is looking for a ground through your lights and/or pump.
Your coach is probably pretty sophisticated, so the point above, about how these circuits are wired and controlled has validity. If it's just fuses, wire and switches, that's a different case from electronics, remote controls, networking etc.
