Which direction do you spin the trailer brake adjuster?

Going to try and talk my friend into letting me adjust the trailer brakes. Ideally i would inspect and grease the bearings but there is noway thats gonna happen before they go on a trip. I was the las...

Just remember "Down and Out" When you move the lever down the shoes move out.
The different sides have reverse threads so it works same on each.
