Winterizing Coach -Norcold Fridge

We may rent a place in Western Montana for the winter and store our coach here. Aside from winterizing by blowing out all the water and pumping in the RV anti-freeze, is there anything I need to do with the Norcold fridge ? Will the chemicals in the unit be OK in well below zero weather ? Thanks.
  • Leave the doors cracked open so the inside can breath. Keeps it from getting musty.

That has nothing to do with cold weather. It should be done anytime the fridge is not in operation.
  • when I winterized my ice maker, I just disconnected it at the solenoid at the outside access door, put a hose valve on it, squirted out some pink stuff and closed the hose valve. I let the refrigerator end of it just drain out. I assume that the piping on the inside of the freezer gets cold under normal use so going thru the winter wouldn't be any different.

  • The only thing I had to winterize on mine was the ice maker. If you have one, make sure to get the antifreeze through it. Make sure the drip tray under the fins in the top of the refer is empty also.
