Zerk Fitings

I purchased a ready-brake brute elite tow bar in 2015. I can't find anything in instructions, or on website or in videos which identify the size of the zerk fittings. Any help would be appreciated.

From what I know about this type of tow bar, there are no zerk fittings on the unit.

The current ReadyBrute includes Zerk fittings on the arms.

I have only seen two sizes on the threaded end, and on the nipple end there is but one. So if you are replacing one.. Simply remove it and go to ye old auto parts.. Or measure it.

No worry, all zerks take the same size grease gun fitting.

Thanks to all who responded; this was the most informative. Again, thanks to all.

  • Zerks come in different sizes? News to me. The only size difference I'm aware of would be on the threaded end. Why don't you simple measure one? Most common are 1/8 NPT and 1/4-28 taper.

Or, if you broke one off and need a new one, take one down to the FLAPS and find a matching one.
  • Size? Are you asking thread size or nipple size? Nipples are all the same. Either a standard push on or the euro sryle concave type. If your asking about thread size, 1/8 NPT is extremely common as are press in and 1/4NPT.
