Note from moderator,
Please keep pics to a max 640 width as a favor to those with smaller screens and dial up. "IF" you can not figure out how to make the pics smaller, post them, PM me or hit 'notify moderator' button, say you can not resize pics, and I aka blt2ski/Marty will go in and edit/fix.
Enjoy everyones pics

What kind of mileage do you get (empty and towing)?

Got this a couple of weeks ago, it's an F-350 Lariat with the 6.7L diesel. Had a Line-x bed liner done yesterday, and a light tint on the front side windows. First tow may be this weekend. So far I have to say it's a well thought out, great vehicle. DW sure likes it (not sure if you can see her smiling face in this pic).

David, How did the Chevy tow your Fuzion? I am looking to get the exact same setup..

It moved it ok, but stopping was a huge issue. I had the trailer brakes setup pretty high, but the truck would still overheat the brakes with minimal usage on longer hills. The Ford is night and day over the Chevy in both power and braking.

I didn't even let my family ride with me on the last weekend trip we took with the Chevy. I made my wife drive the kids in the Escalade. We had a few passes to go over, so I wanted to play it safe.

How do you mean "superduties"? Didn't the superduty name first show up in 1988?

Yes, yes they did make them back then.

But, you, me, and a few others might and I mean might, know that.

Most people know when you say Superduty, it is 99+ model of the F250-350.

I don't think I've posted here, if this is a repeat I apologize.

First, original tow vehicle when I pulled the new TT home in the fall of 2003 - 1987 F350 stake body dump, dually, 4sp creeper gear manual, 4.10 limited slip rear end, 460ci with 4 barrel carb. Doesn't like to go over 55mph, actually doesn't like the highway at all. A beast that I am still using today for work:

Second. Had planned on buying a newer tow vehicle, and bought this the next year after buying the TT -- used 2000 F250 7.3 diesel extended cab, 2 wheel drive. GREAT truck, doubled my fuel mileage from the F350 gasser. I was warned (in these forums) about the cab, and sure enough within 3 years my growing kids out grew the cab. That is my son on the boat, 3 years later he couldn't fit behind the front seat:

So, third. Bought what I should have bought all along (isn't that always the way?). Got a great trade in for the 7.3 diesel, and a really good deal on the 2008 F250 crewcab, 5.4, auto, tow command, 2 wheel drive. Truck has been great so far. We've put miles on it, and the kids ask to take the truck now whenever we go on a long drive as a family:

After 2 decades of snowplowing, I got out of that work (thank God!), and found I just didn't need 4 wheel drive.
