Nice truck, a bit over kill with a 1 ton for a 5000 lbs loaded HTT but better to have to much, than not enough. :p
Anyhow, nothing wrong with a 2008 midsize V8 truck pulling a 23' 5000 lbs trailer. Mine did great, just worse mileage than the F150.

Our rig has 3000lb payload and 8ft bed. Pack it with bikes, firewood, oudoor kitchen, stroller, cooler, canoe gear, tools, large tote, and still have room for gear.
