For people wanting to argue about the mileage, again, I will state, the truck had 37" tires, a lift and a replacement front bumper. Do I think that had a major effect on the mileage, yes. Other than an exhaust leak, the truck was in great mechanical shape. I can attest to that. The plugs had been done at 100k and the truck had 135k on it when I sold it. The calculator doesn't lie. The speedo was checked against my Garmin and was within 1-2 mph. The odometer was checked against the Garmin and Google maps, so I know my figuring was right. I'm glad others are getting such great mileage out of their V10's, I didn't and I was partly to blame. As far as saving money over the V10, I will, especially when we go on trips. While the maintenance will probably be a wash since I get a discount on filters and oil, the money that I saved on this last trip alone will pay for one oil change.
