$12,000 off MSRP, the 15's must be getting close

Might be a good time to look at the outgoing GM HD line. $12,000 off is the current ad for our local Chevy/GMC dealer.

I got a call yesterday from the dealer where I got my truck asking if I would trade in my 2012 2500hd on a new truck if the payment was about the same. I said no. But I did look online to see what the incentives were. Seems like $3500 rebate here in Richmond VA. That seems pretty normal to me. What are the incentives like elsewhere

GM said they were going to have supplier pricing on all models this month because of slow sales. Chris

The 2015 I ordered was $4500 more than what I could have gotten a similarly equipped 14. Hope it is worth it. Right now there are no incentives on the 15's but hopefully by the time mine arrives in 10 to 14 weeks (could be sooner, who knows) there may at least be some customer loyalty cash. That and my GM card earnings would make it a little sweeter.

$12,000 off of the most reliable HD truck. That is awesome.

Value, that's what I'm talking about.

I'm sure your dealer will sell a bunch of em.

It's a bit surprising, this particular dealer doesn't tend to deal very much on price.

Tell that to the dealer where we just bought a 2500HD - he'd didn't budge much. But we like the truck -- only thing that would have changed in reality, the financing would have been 'shorter months' ... and at the term end, doesn't matter that much anyway.

Course, we bought the 2015 DC version - and every where we looked, the dealers had Crew Cabs overflowing and willing to discount large. Not so on Double Cabs

Heard a news article yesterday that truck sales had been weak all winter and that many dealers were willing to "cut deals" to get inventory off the lot

When someone tells you to buy the same rig they own, listen, they might be right. When they tell you to buy a different rig then they own, really pay attention, they probably know something you don't.
