1996 Chevy Dually - What model # Torklift Stable Loads?

Hi All!

So as I make the transition to my new to me 2007 Lance 1055 I've decided to add Torklift Stable Loads to compliment my Rancho 9000 shocks to help avoid any potential sway, etc. I ordered a set from Tweety's and then realized they were the wrong one as they require a hole in the overload spring. From what I can gather from Torklift's website, I need the 7200A "pads" that bolt on. They don't carry that model at Tweety's so I'm back at looking for them for the best price. Do any of you have a truck like mine and have the 7200A? If so, what are your experiences? Torklift makes great products in my opinion and I would like to use their product. I don't want supersprings or airbags.

Thanks!

Dak
  • I ordered the A7200 today after consulting with Matt at Torklift International.. Timn, there should be no issues with Stableloads "hurting" your springs. good luck!

  • I bought some stable loads for my Chevy 2500. Question is loaded my truck sits on the overloads will the stable loads hurt my springs thanks.
  • Stableloads make far more difference than airbags. I wish I wouldn't have wasted the money on airbags.
  • A7310 is what I run on my 2009 DRW Silverado.... that model works on a large range of years of GM trucks. AWESOME PRODUCT!!
I had the old style Stableload for 2 years, the upgraded to the quick disconnect model when they came out.

You remove the little plastic pad on the lower overload leaf spring

I've been meaning to list the old ones for sale on Craigslist, but it's 3 years later and I still haven't done it.
  • Ha! Thanks JumboJet! No slapping! My next truck will be a Dodge, so you're good! :)

    Cheers!

  • Don't slap my hand for not having a truck like yours.............

The A7200 StableLoad is the same as what I am using on my RAM 3500. I also had them on my Dodge RAM 2500 and Dodge RAM 3500 SRW.

On the RAM, remove the factory installed pad and install the A7200.

I tried air bags and home made spacers before 'investing' in the StableLoads. I wouldn't have anything else because I haven't seen the need for anything else.
