Have been using the electric pump to fill neck for 11 years. The fuel will sometimes gravity feed to the OEM tank but never to where it flows out the OEM fill cap. Put an inline filter to catch the bulk of the stuff (2 micron).

However if you leave to pump on too long the fuel will run out the OEM fill cap.

I finally put a timer on the pump.
